Day 81 Sunday 284 Days Left In 2015

Sunrise 7:01
Sunset 7:07
Days Length 12 hours 12 min.
Took the team around the block today.

Just a little test run, with the new horse trailer.

This exercise was more for the comfort of the humans than the horses.

The team did great I suspect they have trailered  plenty, we have not.

Couple things we will do different next time, like load them on the same sides we drive them on ( Mike on the Right). That is the point of practicing correct.

Yes My horses have better shoes than me...

Check out Mack's new shoes!

New Shoes

Today Mack got new shoes!

Our Farrier comes out to the farm..

Mack's feet are done, while in shoeing stocks. This is the safest application for both draft horse and farrier.
Our Farrier is Matt Guillemette, he takes his time and does an awesome job!
