Do You Collect Scraps?

Every night as I prepare dinner,
pealing the garlic, slicing the potatoes and onions

I save them in my "garbage bowl".

Then at the end of each week I add bones, either chicken or beef what ever is more plentiful that particular week.

 This week it was chicken from the Chicken Alfredo.
I put it all into a stock pot , set the pot to boil.

Reduce to simmer for at least an hour,

strain and I Then have liquid gold.

Perfect stock for sauces, gravy and rice!FREE from the "garbage bowl".
