Open Farm Day

Thank you to everyone (#47 people) who came out to our farm yesterday, for Maine's Open Farm Day!

I apologize for my failure to capture any real good pictures. This was our first time ever participating in the event , I never had a chance to run into the farm house and grab my camera.
We had an amazing day and plan to take part next year , already thinking of what we can add to the day.
If you came to the farm , please do not wait til next year to come again,
and if you took pictures please share !

Yard "art" Yes or No

I find myself wondering ...
do more people like, or dislike yard art?
I have "stuff" all over the yard , it makes me happy.

The hubs could do without any of the "stuff"
he puts up with it it for me.

I got this little wire dog at a local shop, if he was fatter I would personalize him with a KJ bottle.

I have wanted a rain gauge for ever, I am always asking if it rained over night or if I need to water. We have them at the big orange box, this is NOT from there this one is local, pretty and real strong.I reuse what I can.
