Bourbon Pecan Pie

While in Pennsylvania we visited a freind, Amos who gifted me a pound of Pecan's , I knew that I would make a pie. Favorite Bourbon Pecan Pie This is a pecan pie you won't want to forget. Bourbon gives this pie its delicious and distinctive flavor. For the bourbon I used Bobs favorite Woodford Reserve Prep: 15 mins Cook: 35 mins Additional: 1 hr Total: 1 hr 50 mins Servings: 8 Yield: 1 9-inch pie Favorite Bourbon Pecan Pie Ingredients Ingredient Checklist 1 C Dark Brown Sugar 4 tablespoons butter, melted ½ cup light corn syrup 3 eggs, beaten 2 tablespoons bourbon 2 cups pecan halves 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep-dish pie crust Directions Instructions Checklist Step 1 Preheat an oven to 375 degrees Step 2 Mix the brown sugar, and butter together in a bowl. Stir in the corn syrup, eggs, and bourbon; fold in the pecans. Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Step 3 Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees ; continue to bake until the pie is set, about 25 minutes more. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
